Impacts of Smoking on Health : Smoking is a practice which rates high risk to our health. It can be considered as an evil deep rooted in the society. It is a habit that drains your money and kills you slowly as it acts like a slow poison.

In recent times, countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal cigarette prices have not increased, the people are most interested in taking it as a human habit. It has major health hazard, but still, people give different reasons for smoking, most of these justifications are not very reasonable as they say it has many ways to relax, acts as a stress buster, reduce anxiety, but it comes with greater health risk for damaging the brain, lungs, immune system. It is a bad habit thus it should be quitted by people; smokers don’t risk their lives but also lives of others which inhale smoke.

NGOs are working on this issue by conducting awareness programs like putting up posters, banners, and skits. The Government is also taking steps to control smoking by advertisements and putting up disclaimers in movies and cigarettes packets. Online media is used as a direct channel to communicate youth to avoid this practice. Many help lines are also there for nicotine addicted. Numbers of medications are also there to quit the nicotine addiction. Counselors provide counseling to such individuals which incorporate motivational enhancement therapies.

Help me my best friend she started smoking and she lives far away from me how to i stop her from smoking i persuaded her not to smoke I’m so concerned about her but she is not listing to me at any cost i just want her good but someone explain her to quit smoking 😭😭idk how this all happened but she told me once that she started smoking and i thought it’s all a lie but it wasn’t and now I’m so sad and concerned idk what to do please somebody please help me 😭😭😭
